Battlespace Awareness Operator – Senior

Responsibilities

• Lead BSA operations during shifts and critical events, establishing priorities and assigning tasks to ensure mission protection.
• Direct advanced event characterization and intelligence/warning assessments to provide high-confidence recommendations to decision-makers.
• Oversee RSO custody and database integrity for high-interest objects, resolving complex discrepancies.
• Coordinate and deconflict mission protection responses across multiple operations centers and mission partners.
• Deliver routine and executive-level briefings and written products ensuring correct classification and accuracy.
• Lead the development and refinement of checklists, thresholds, and TTPs based on operational lessons learned.
• Mentor and develop junior and intermediate operators through training and quality assurance reviews.
• Support the integration of new SDA capabilities by defining operational acceptance criteria and validating procedures.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with an adjudicated polygraph.
• Master's degree with 11 years of relevant experience, OR Bachelor's degree with 12 years of relevant experience, OR 14 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated expertise leading or coordinating operations in a watch floor or operations center environment.
• Expertise in space domain awareness, mission protection, and producing decision-support products for senior stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Significant experience with STK and/or SDA tool suites, including developing workflows and analytic best practices.
• Experience coordinating operations across Joint Staff, Combatant Commands, or Intelligence Community mission partners.
• Subject matter expertise in counterspace threat capabilities, space surveillance networks, and mission protection planning.
