Battlespace Awareness Operator – Junior

Responsibilities

• Monitor SDA tools and threat assessments during 24/7 operations to identify events of interest
• Maintain RSO custody and update operational databases, validating data against approved sources
• Produce routine reports, briefings, and ad hoc updates for ongoing events
• Conduct initial event characterization, including timeline and pattern-of-life observations
• Support course of action (COA) development by compiling constraints and response options
• Execute procedures in response to checklist entry criteria and document all actions
• Support testing and integration of developing software capabilities as an operational end user
• Assist with real-world and exercise-driven planning efforts and maintain readiness through training

Requirements

• Active Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance with adjudicated polygraph
• Master's degree and 1 year of relevant experience, OR Bachelor's degree and 2 years of relevant experience, OR 4 years of relevant experience
• Experience using operational monitoring, analytics, or mission systems to track events
• Experience supporting 24/7 operations such as a watch floor or operations center

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience with STK or other SDA/astrodynamics systems (e.g., ASW, ATLAS, SPADOC)
• Experience working with Intelligence Community organizations or joint mission partners
• Applied understanding of orbital mechanics, space surveillance, and counterspace threat concepts
