Battlespace Awareness Operator – Intermediate

Responsibilities

• Independently monitor and assess SDA tools, threat reporting, and operational cues to identify significant space events
• Maintain and validate RSO custody for high-interest objects and reconcile data discrepancies
• Lead event characterization, including pattern-of-life and behavior changes, to provide recommendations to leadership
• Execute checklist responses and coordinate with mission partners to deconflict actions
• Develop and deliver routine and ad hoc briefings for leadership with proper classification markings
• Support operational assessments by analyzing recurring events and recommending updates to TTPs or workflows
• Mentor junior operators during live events and perform quality checks on products
• Support the integration of new capabilities through operational testing and documentation

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with an adjudicated polygraph
• Master's degree and 7 years of relevant experience, OR Bachelor's degree and 8 years of relevant experience, OR 10 years of relevant experience
• Demonstrated experience in space domain awareness, space operations, or mission protection
• Experience producing operational reporting and briefings in a high-tempo environment

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with STK or other SDA/astrodynamics tools
• Experience with checklist development, threshold tuning, or TTP refinement
• Experience supporting system integration activities as an operational end user (UAT, OT&E support)
