Battery Storage Technician

Responsibilities

• Lead field crews in performing battery storage system work safely and efficiently
• Perform installations, commissioning, troubleshooting, and repairs of battery energy storage systems
• Conduct system checks, collect data, and adjust settings on computerized equipment
• Adhere to all lockout/tagout procedures and standard operating procedures
• Prepare detailed documentation including photos of work performed and site conditions
• Perform quality assurance inspections on newly onboarded BESS sites
• Maintain excellent housekeeping standards and support continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Basic understanding of electrical principles
• Experience using hand tools and performing mechanical troubleshooting or repair
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to work outdoors in various temperatures and wear arc-flash PPE
• Ability to lift 50 pounds overhead and climb stairs or ladders
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation including evenings and weekends
• Ability to distinguish colors and maintain 20/40 vision
