Battery Lab Technician

Responsibilities

• Execute battery cell and pack test plans, ensuring accurate and reliable data generation
• Operate and maintain lab equipment, specifically Neware Cyclers and related hardware
• Perform Incoming Quality Control (IQC) and precise measurement protocols for validation programs
• Record detailed test data and compile data for validation reports
• Support continuous improvement by deploying custom testing solutions and automated tools
• Monitor Neware dashboards for real-time tracking of tests and equipment
• Assist the Lab Manager with third-party test house coordination
• Maintain lab organization and a safe work environment

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with battery testing procedures and cell/pack validation
• Practical experience operating Neware Cyclers
• Ability to follow standardized lab processes and IQC protocols
• Strong attention to detail in data recording and anomaly identification
• Experience in basic equipment maintenance and test fixture setup

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to CT scanning, cross-section preparation, and 3D measurements
• Basic familiarity with Python, data logging tools, or SMbus communication
• Understanding of general lab safety protocols and battery material handling
