Batching Operator

Responsibilities

• Monitor batching processes in real time using computerized control systems and screens in a control room environment
• Operate automated batching systems to initiate, adjust, and complete production runs
• Verify raw materials, lot numbers, and quantities to ensure accurate formula and recipe execution
• Execute operational tasks including discharging, loading, transporting, cleaning, and labeling equipment
• Log production data and activity information into appropriate systems for accurate administration
• Identify and signal process deviations or opportunities for continuous improvement to supervisors
• Maintain strict compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality regulations

Requirements

• 2+ years of solid background in manufacturing with experience in production management
• Ability to work 10-hour shifts on a schedule of 4 days a week (including 2 day shifts and 2 night shifts)
• Physical ability to bend, twist, and occasionally lift or carry 5 to 10 kgs
• Proficiency in operating various types of specialized equipment and machinery

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working within the aquaculture industry
