Basware Functional Lead

Responsibilities

• Drive the design, implementation, and optimization of Basware solutions for Invoice Automation and Invoice Ingestion.
• Configure and optimize Basware systems, including invoice processing workflows, API integrations, and multi-entity hierarchies.
• Ensure solutions adhere to regulatory standards, including e-invoicing, tax reporting, and compliance mandates across multiple regions.
• Manage integrations between Basware systems and ERP platforms such as SAP and Oracle to ensure accurate data flow.
• Act as the primary liaison between clients, technical teams, and business stakeholders.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements to reduce manual intervention.
• Provide training and guidance to end-users and mentor junior consultants.

Requirements

• 3-6 years of experience in ERP or AP automation projects.
• Hands-on expertise with Basware solutions.
• Strong technical skills in system configuration, data mapping, and integration technologies (APIs, REST, SFTP).
• In-depth knowledge of e-invoicing standards and compliance frameworks.
• Proven ability to manage stakeholders and lead workshops or testing phases.

Preferred Qualifications

• Expertise specifically in Basware Invoice Automation and Invoice Ingestion tools.
• Familiarity with multi-country implementations and varying regional regulatory requirements.
• Experience with delivery methodologies such as Waterfall or Agile.
