About the role
Responsibilities
- Teach and promote life skills through basketball and other sports
- Lead basketball programs through the Boys and Girls club and various Kipp Schools
- Conduct practice sessions and manage games
- Engage positively with young children to inspire them through sports
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Prior experience working with children (professional or volunteer)
- Genuine enthusiasm for sports and basketball
- Willingness to work afternoon and occasional Saturday morning hours
- Access to reliable transportation for travel within South and Central Los Angeles
- Ability to pass a clean background check
- Certification in CPR and First Aid
