Basic Software Architect

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of BSW architecture concepts and drive system-level architectural decisions.
• Perform static and dynamic architectural design and derive software requirements from system requirements.
• Analyze customer requirements and collaborate with cross-functional teams from concept to implementation.
• Act as a technical lead for developers and integrators, providing mentorship on AUTOSAR best practices.
• Troubleshoot OEM issues and work with customers on software system design and maintenance.
• Manage resource consumption objectives and understand HW schematics, board layouts, and IO pin configurations.

Requirements

• 8–12+ years of experience in AUTOSAR Basic Software (BSW) and embedded systems.
• Deep understanding of AUTOSAR Layered Architecture and OSEK/AUTOSAR OS.
• Expertise in architecture design tools such as IBM Rhapsody or Microsoft Visio.
• Proficiency with Infineon microcontrollers and communication protocols including CAN and LIN.
• Strong knowledge of diagnostics (UDS, DCM, DEM) and memory systems (NvM, Flash drivers).
• Experience with AUTOSAR configuration tools like Vector DaVinci or EB Tresos.
• Proficiency with debugging tools such as CANoe, CANalyzer, WinIdea, or logic analyzers.
• Solid understanding of ISO 26262 Functional Safety (Safety Goals, Safety Paths, FTTI).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on Battery Management Systems (BMS).
• Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts for automotive systems.
