Base Metals Broker (LME/Options)

Responsibilities

• Arrange trades via voice broking on behalf of clients for execution at relevant exchanges
• Promote the company by providing market intelligence and analysis to clients
• Maintain and enhance existing client relationships through regular contact and tracking of trading activities
• Proactively solicit industry feedback via trade calls, surveys, and industry events
• Produce daily and weekly updates on market prices and direction for international desks
• On-board new clients following strict Compliance and Operations procedures
• Identify and seize new business opportunities related to market trends and products
• Ensure all trades are executed on a non-advice/execution-only basis and comply with regulatory standards

Requirements

• Sound knowledge of Options, Derivatives, and Commodity products/markets
• Proven experience as a broker covering commercial clients (financial or physical markets)
• Deep understanding of price risk management
• Strong analytical and numeracy skills with high attention to detail
• Proficiency in Excel and other IT systems
• Excellent communication skills with a personable and engaging approach to networking
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, pressurized environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Battery Metals
• CISI Regulations & Derivatives exams
