BAS/BMS Lead Field Technician

Responsibilities

• Initiate, install, troubleshoot, and optimize customer systems utilizing advanced Direct Digital Control technology
• Mentor and develop less experienced Field Engineers on field tools and technology
• Serve as the local technical contact and provide effective solutions for complex system issues
• Provide turnkey project delivery on medium to large projects
• Ensure systems operate properly, including controls, sensors, and software
• Load software and configure trends, alarms, and reports
• Communicate and document project status and details for the customer
• Provide site-specific training to owners and operators on complete systems

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3+ years of experience in building automation, HVAC, or a related technical field
• Ability to climb ladders or use lift equipment over 8 feet and lift items up to 50lbs
• Valid and current Driver’s License and ability to be insured by the company

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Associate, or Technical School degree in HVAC, Controls, or a related field
• Proficiency with advanced building automation software such as WebCTRL
• Experience with TCP/IP networks and wireless technology
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications
