BAS/BMS Field Technician

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning and optimization of advanced Building Automation Systems (BAS) for HVAC, lighting, and energy systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical and integration issues across multiple platforms including WebCTRL, Niagara, Schneider, and Honeywell
• Integrate third-party systems using BACnet, Modbus, or LonWorks
• Configure controls, trends, alarms, and reports while managing secure network connections
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians
• Deliver customer training to ensure systems perform as promised

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ years of experience in Building Automation, HVAC, or a related technical field
• Ability to climb ladders and use lift equipment over 8 feet above grade
• Ability to lift items up to 50lbs
• Valid and current Driver’s License and ability to be insured by the company

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, Associate’s degree, or Technical/Business School Certificate in HVAC, Controls, or a related field
• Proficiency with advanced building automation software such as WebCTRL
• Experience with TCP/IP networks and wireless technology
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications
