Bartender

Responsibilities

• Support the Beverage Manager in the efficient operation of bar lounges, restaurants, and special events.
• Prepare and serve drinks in accordance with company recipes and STAR Service standards.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of all bar menus to deliver exceptional guest service.
• Manage sales transactions, tally bar revenue, and follow correct accounting procedures.
• Conduct stock takes and inventory to ensure cost control and proper storage of stock.
• Maintain immaculate cleanliness and hygiene standards in all assigned beverage areas.
• Ensure mise-en-place is prepared 15 minutes prior to service.
• Adhere to all Public Health, Environmental, and Safety & Security policies.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Bartender in a premium brand hospitality or bar environment.
• Previous shipboard experience in a bartender position is required.
• Fluency in both Japanese and English is mandatory for communicating with guests and the team.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Physically fit and able to stand, kneel, bend, and carry heavy items for prolonged periods.
• Ability to work flexibly under pressure with a positive, guest-focused attitude.
