About the role
Responsibilities
- Take beverage orders from guests and servers with 100% accuracy
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistent with standard recipes
- Record drink orders accurately into the register system
- Accept guest payments and process credit card charges
- Wash and sterilize glassware and maintain bar cleanliness
- Prepare garnishes and replenish snacks or appetizers
- Present drink menus and make recommendations to guests
- Receive and serve food orders to guests seated at the bar
- Assist with restocking and replenishment of bar inventory
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Working knowledge of beer, wine, liquor, and common drink recipes
- Basic math skills for handling money and operating a cash register
- Ability to stand for long periods (exceeding 8 hours)
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests
