Bartender

Responsibilities

• Verify customer identification and age requirements
• Mix craft cocktails and serve food and drinks to customers at the bar
• Open and maintain customer tabs throughout the shift
• Make personalized drink suggestions based on customer tastes and preferences
• Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately and balance the register
• Maintain a clean work and dining area by washing glasses, cleaning tables, and removing trash
• Perform technical tasks such as cleaning draft lines and changing kegs
• Build rapport with customers to create a positive, welcoming atmosphere

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in hospitality or guest services
• High school diploma or GED
• Strong knowledge of spirits, cocktails, beer, and wine
• Experience using Point of Sale (POS) systems
• Ability to multitask effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Strong verbal communication skills and high energy level

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a high-volume craft cocktail bar
• Previous experience working in a restaurant environment
