Bartender

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests to the bar with outstanding hospitality and build rapport with regulars
• Verify identification and age requirements of all customers
• Mix traditional and creative cocktails according to menu specifications
• Make personalized drink suggestions based on customer tastes and preferences
• Process customer payments and manage open tabs throughout the shift
• Maintain a clean workspace, including cleaning glasses and bar utensils
• Record and balance receipts and prepare daily reports

Requirements

• Prior experience in an establishment providing both bar and food service
• Extensive knowledge of alcoholic beverages and different types of cuisines
• Responsible Beverage Service Certificate
• Food Handlers Certificate
• Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• High level of physical stamina to work on your feet for extended periods
