About the role
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests to the bar with outstanding hospitality and build rapport with regulars
- Verify identification and age requirements of all customers
- Mix traditional and creative cocktails according to menu specifications
- Make personalized drink suggestions based on customer tastes and preferences
- Process customer payments and manage open tabs throughout the shift
- Maintain a clean workspace, including cleaning glasses and bar utensils
- Record and balance receipts and prepare daily reports
Requirements
- Prior experience in an establishment providing both bar and food service
- Extensive knowledge of alcoholic beverages and different types of cuisines
- Responsible Beverage Service Certificate
- Food Handlers Certificate
- Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- High level of physical stamina to work on your feet for extended periods
