Bartender

Responsibilities

• Mix and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages
• Offer drink recommendations to complement food items
• Oversee security of liquor, checks, and cash
• Monitor guests for intoxication and communicate with management
• Perform physical setup and breakdown of the bar area
• Maintain cleanliness of indoor and outdoor serving areas
• Assist with beverage and general supply requisitions

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be over 18 years of age
• TIPS trained
• Ability to work outdoors at high elevation
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• Six months to one year of related experience
• Proficient knowledge of wines by the glass
• Basic knowledge of cocktail creation methods
• Knowledge of state liquor laws
