Bartender

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a diverse range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including craft cocktails, wines, and spirits
• Deliver personalized and engaging guest experiences
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of beverage menus, ingredients, and promotions
• Actively upsell beverages and food items to drive revenue
• Monitor guest consumption and promote responsible drinking practices
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bar area in compliance with HACCP regulations
• Process cash and card transactions accurately using POS systems
• Manage bar inventory and restock supplies
• Collaborate with kitchen and service staff for seamless operations

Requirements

• Minimum 1–2 years of bartending experience in a hotel or upscale environment
• Expertise in cocktail preparation, spirits, and wines
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a recognized bartending or mixology certification program
• Proficiency in cash handling and POS systems
• Fluent in English (written and verbal)
• Ability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• Arabic language skills
• Knowledge of local beverage regulations in Egypt
