Bartender

Responsibilities

• Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and food to guests in an upscale restaurant and music hall atmosphere
• Welcome and acknowledge Foundation Room members, Live Nation Executives, and VIPs
• Maintain impeccable knowledge of upscale dining service steps and mixology fundamentals
• Suggestively sell beverages and menu items, including wine pairings that complement food selections
• Ensure responsible alcohol service by requesting proper identification and monitoring guest intoxication levels
• Prepare beverages according to standard recipes and venue specifications
• Perform opening, running, and closing duties, including cash handling and processing payments via POS terminals
• Maintain safety and sanitation standards and record equipment failures in the bar log

Requirements

• State or County Alcohol Awareness Certification (or equivalent)
• Minimum of 2 years experience bartending in an upscale dining and nightlife establishment
• Strong working knowledge of all beverages, including wine, beer, and spirits
• Proven cash handling experience
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including late hours and nights
• Ability to pass a pour test and a timed mixology drill
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years of work experience in a high-volume environment
• Experience working in a live music environment
• Experience in recognizing valid identification
