Bartender

Responsibilities

• Interact with guests in a natural, friendly demeanor to cultivate repeat business
• Prepare beverages according to standard recipes and venue specifications
• Suggestively sell beverages and menu items to guests
• Prioritize and organize drink orders to ensure prompt delivery
• Maintain safety and sanitation standards, including recording equipment failures or hazards
• Ensure responsible alcohol service by requesting proper identification and monitoring guest intoxication levels
• Perform opening, running, and closing duties, including cash handling and processing payments
• Maintain the bartender bank and perform pull/check-out procedures

Requirements

• Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training Certification or equivalent
• Experience with cash handling
• Ability to work late hours and maintain a flexible schedule
• Ability to lift or move up to 25 lbs using proper lifting techniques
• Skill in interpersonal communication and teamwork
• Physical ability to pass a pour test and a timed mixology drill
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, loud, and high-pressure environment

Preferred Qualifications

• 4 years of work experience in a high-volume environment
• Experience recognizing valid identification
• Previous experience working in a live music venue environment
