Bartender

Responsibilities

• Mix and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages
• Offer drink recommendations to complement food items
• Maintain knowledge of menu ingredients and preparations
• Oversee security of liquor, checks, and cash
• Monitor guest intoxication levels and communicate with management
• Perform bar setup, breakdown, and cleaning duties
• Assist with F&B deliveries and organization of kitchen items
• Enforce food and beverage department policies

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be over 18 years of age
• TIPS trained
• Proficient knowledge of wines by the glass and state liquor laws
• Ability to work outdoors at high elevation
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• Six months to one year of related experience
• Basic knowledge of cocktail creation methods
• Mixology skills
• Knowledge of local attractions and restaurants
