About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide a high level of customer service and promote a fine dining atmosphere
- Work closely with the Executive Chef and Executive Director to ensure resident satisfaction
- Set up the bar with garnishes and polish all glassware prior to service
- Serve beverages according to recipes and deliver accurate orders
- Charge for drinks and maintain inventory of all products
- Adhere to food safety practices and Quality Enhancement standards
- Assist with special events, banquets, and theme meals
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area including sweeping, mopping, and trash removal
- Communicate resident preferences to the Executive Chef for menu planning
Requirements
- One year of prior bartending experience
- Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organization skills
- Ability to resolve problems for dissatisfied customers or team members
- Ability to build positive relationships with employees and residents
- Ability to work varied schedules including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Ability to follow company uniform policy
