Bartender

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of customer service and promote a fine dining atmosphere
• Work closely with the Executive Chef and Executive Director to ensure resident satisfaction
• Set up the bar with garnishes and polish all glassware prior to service
• Serve beverages according to recipes and deliver accurate orders
• Charge for drinks and maintain inventory of all products
• Adhere to food safety practices and Quality Enhancement standards
• Assist with special events, banquets, and theme meals
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area including sweeping, mopping, and trash removal
• Communicate resident preferences to the Executive Chef for menu planning

Requirements

• One year of prior bartending experience
• Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organization skills
• Ability to resolve problems for dissatisfied customers or team members
• Ability to build positive relationships with employees and residents
• Ability to work varied schedules including weekends, evenings, and holidays
• Ability to follow company uniform policy
