Bartender

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standardized recipes with accuracy and consistency
• Deliver warm, attentive, and engaging hospitality to every guest at the bar and in the service well
• Maintain strong knowledge of menu items, specialty cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits to guide guest selections
• Execute high-volume service while maintaining composure, organization, and quality standards
• Accurately enter orders into the POS system and process payments following company procedures
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and enforce responsible service standards in compliance with local regulations
• Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized bar area, including polishing glassware and restocking inventory
• Collaborate with servers, barbacks, and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service flow

Requirements

• Must meet minimum age requirements to serve alcohol per state law
• Valid alcohol service certification (or ability to obtain within required timeframe)
• At least 2 years of bartending experience in a full-service, high-volume restaurant preferred
• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, beer styles, wine varietals, and spirits
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business demands
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds
