Barista Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily barista operations to ensure high-quality coffee and specialty drinks meet hotel standards
• Lead and support the barista team to deliver professional and efficient service
• Oversee guest interactions and ensure accurate order handling
• Maintain beverage presentation standards, including latte art
• Drive sales through effective upselling of outlet offerings and signature beverages
• Monitor cleanliness, hygiene, and equipment maintenance of the coffee station
• Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and food allergy awareness procedures
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment
• Train and motivate team members while maintaining a positive service attitude

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience as a Barista
• Minimum 1 year in a supervisory role within a 4-star/5-star hotel or upscale café
• Strong knowledge of coffee beans, espresso extraction, and brewing techniques
• Skilled in latte art and specialty coffee preparation
• Excellent leadership and guest service skills
• Proficiency in English
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP preferred)
• Basic knowledge of POS systems and cash handling
