Barista

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality beverages and coffees per Magnolia’s standards and recipes
• Greet guests with enthusiasm and ensure the highest level of guest care
• Answer guest questions regarding coffee, cocktails, beer, wine, and menu items
• Maintain stock and store fresh fruit, vegetable garnishes, juices, and perishables daily
• Ensure the beverage bar is fully stocked and complete opening/closing duties
• Prepare and sell menu items following prescribed recipes and techniques
• Polish drinkware and clean beverage equipment
• Assist with running food and drinks, bussing, and resetting tables as needed
• Ensure compliance with sanitation, safety, and responsible alcohol service standards

Requirements

• Food Handler's license and TABC certification required upon hire
• Availability to work weekends, nights, special events, and holidays
• Strong customer service skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to maintain a professional demeanor with a sense of urgency

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• 0-1 years of related work experience
• Proficiency in operating coffee machines and other equipment
