Fresh Baguette is a fast-growing, artisanal bakery known for its high-quality standards and modern atmosphere. Founded in 2013, we bring fresh, made-from-scratch organic breads, pastries, and sweets inspired by French bakeries to the DMV area.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and prompt customer service
• Handle cash and credit transactions efficiently
• Offer product recommendations to enhance customer experience
• Bake a variety of breads and baked goods to perfection
• Prepare products for the next day’s baking schedule
• Organize and maintain freezer and fridge areas
• Set up bread displays for inviting presentation
• Clean and sanitize baking stations
• Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and food storage standards
• Make and serve baked goods, sandwiches, salads, and pastries
• Build and nurture long-term relationships with customers

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of experience in a fast-paced customer-oriented environment
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Open availability to work Monday-Sunday, including holidays
• Ability to stand for 8 hours and lift up to 50 lbs
• Reliable transportation
• Strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working at a café, bakery, or in hospitality
• Experience in a leadership role
