About the Company

Compass Coffee was founded in 2014 by two Marines who became obsessed with the quest for the perfect cup. It has since expanded to 16 cafes in and around DC where Real Good Coffee is served and communities are formed.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming atmosphere and provide legendary customer service
• Craft drinks that uphold quality standards
• Taste coffee daily to expand palette and knowledge
• Support team members in upholding the mission
• Follow cleaning standards to ensure cafes are fresh, clean, and safe
• Prepare food and drinks to standard or customized requests

Requirements

• Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions
• Maintain regular and consistent attendance
• No previous experience required
