About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare house-made syrups, infusions, shrubs, juices, purees, and batch cocktails according to standardized recipes
- Produce garnishes including dehydrated fruit, citrus peels, and herbs to specific standards
- Perform precise knife work for citrus and fruit preparation
- Label, date, and properly store all prepared items according to company standards
- Monitor par levels for prep items and communicate shortages to management
- Maintain a clean, organized prep station and production workspace
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines
- Assist with receiving, rotating, and organizing bar ingredient deliveries
Requirements
- Food Handler Certification (or ability to obtain)
- BASSET certification (or ability to obtain)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs frequently
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8+ hours)
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a bar, kitchen, or prep environment
