Barback

Responsibilities

• Stock ice bins, liquor, beer, and wine, including lifting and moving up to 25lbs
• Perform opening and closing barback duties to ensure the bar meets operational standards
• Rotate and store stock correctly while reporting any damage or waste
• Maintain clean and tidy back-of-house areas and stockrooms
• Monitor guest intoxication levels and alert bartenders, managers, or security as needed
• Communicate effectively with the team to support seamless service in a high-volume environment

Requirements

• Smart Serve Certification and at least 19 years of age
• 1-2 years of experience as a barback or in a similar high-volume role
• Knowledge of various spirits, beers, wines, and champagnes
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive physical tasks like walking, reaching, and bending
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
