Barback

Responsibilities

• Maintain the physical atmosphere and cleanliness of the bar, including beer lockers, refrigerators, and storage areas
• Stock all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws, stirrers, and condiments
• Prepare fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and perishables daily
• Assist bartenders with stocking glassware, ice, and produce to ensure seamless service
• Retrieve orders from the storeroom and reconcile stock with written requisitions
• Transport taps and perform routine maintenance on beer kegs
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up and breaking down service stations
• Greet guests in a courteous manner to ensure high-quality service and satisfaction

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Minimum of 1-year experience in the hospitality industry
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and stand for the duration of a full shift
• Must have all required food and alcohol certifications as designated by location
• Availability to work a variable schedule, including weekends and both opening and closing shifts
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment with loud noise
