Bar Waiter

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of assigned stations, including bars, coffee stations, and sundecks, serving up to 30 guests per station.
• Provide high-quality beverage service, including assisting with cocktail preparation and maintaining in-depth knowledge of bar menus.
• Ensure all guests are charged accurately according to company standards and account procedures.
• Maintain immaculate cleanliness and hygiene standards in all assigned areas in accordance with Public Health Policies.
• Manage stock levels, conduct inventory, and ensure correct storage of beverages to control costs.
• Prepare mise-en-place 15 minutes prior to service and follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Uphold impeccable grooming and uniform standards to represent the Viking brand.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Bar Waiter or in a similar role within a premium international hospitality environment.
• In-depth knowledge of wines, spirits, and cocktails.
• Fluency in both Japanese and English is required for effective communication with guests and team members.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Physically fit and able to stand, kneel, and bend for prolonged periods.
• Ability to carry heavy items and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
