Bar Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and motivate the bar team to maintain high standards of service and positive morale
• Oversee daily bar operations, including inventory management, ordering, receiving, and stock rotation
• Collaborate with the Beverage Manager to develop new cocktails and update beverage menus
• Monitor compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
• Resolve escalated guest complaints promptly to uphold the establishment’s reputation
• Ensure accurate beverage preparation according to recipes and company standards
• Manage financial procedures, including POS system usage and secure payment handling

Requirements

• 5-7 years of progressive experience in bartending and bar management within luxury or upscale hospitality
• Expert-level knowledge of classic and modern cocktails, premium spirits, and wine
• Proven ability to manage inventory control and minimize waste
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in POS systems and financial transaction procedures

Preferred Qualifications

• Formal bartending certification
• Recognized hospitality management training
