Bar Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all areas of the bar and uphold bar procedures and policies
• Train and coach bartenders and build server product knowledge
• Manage inventory volumes, ordering, receiving, and invoice processing
• Create and maintain seasonal drinks menus that maximize sales
• Enforce sanitary practices and general cleanliness of the bar area
• Ensure compliance with company policies and local laws
• Lead by example through hospitality and positive team engagement

Requirements

• Previous bartending experience required
• ProServe certification required
• Passion and knowledge of mixology and cocktail creation
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
• Prior supervisory or management experience is an asset
• WSET certification is an asset
