About the Company

Bluebird is a wood-fired steakhouse in Banff featuring Alberta beef, classic cuts, and all-day-roasted Prime rib. Part of the Banff Hospitality Collective, we offer a mid-century chalet atmosphere where brunch, cocktails, and dinner collide.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all areas of the bar and uphold bar procedures and policies
• Train and coach bartenders and build server product knowledge
• Lead by example by working alongside bartenders with a focus on hospitality
• Manage inventory volumes, ordering, receiving, and invoice processing
• Create and maintain a seasonal drinks menu that maximizes sales
• Enforce sanitary practices and maintain bar cleanliness and maintenance
• Ensure compliance with operational standards and local laws
• Maintain professional restaurant image and uniform standards

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of beer, mixology, and cocktail creation
• Proven bartending experience
• ProServe certification
• Supervisory or management experience preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
• Strong work ethic and collaborative mindset
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada
