Banquet Server

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and beverage to guests in a professional manner following House of Blues standards
• Serve various event styles including buffets, sit-down dinners, and hors d'oeuvres parties
• Set tables with quality china, glass, and silver according to event orders
• Anticipate customer needs to exceed service expectations
• Organize motions to maximize efficiency during setup and service
• Perform hands-on tasks such as preparing candelabras and sauce stations
• Maintain a safe working environment by following all food handling and sanitation practices
• Work effectively in environments with high levels of background noise

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of prior serving experience in a quality club, hotel, or restaurant
• Strong knowledge of fine wines and food
• Excellent interpersonal, listening, and oral communication skills
• Ability to lift a maximum of 50 lbs
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to adhere to quality standards for safety and sanitation
