Banquet Server

Responsibilities

• Welcome and acknowledge guests with a friendly greeting and professional demeanor
• Anticipate guest needs and respond to questions, concerns, or special requests
• Set tables according to event types and service standards, including linens, glassware, and silverware
• Communicate dietary needs, allergies, and special meal requirements to the kitchen staff
• Answer questions regarding menu selections and coordinate with kitchen staff for clarification
• Present accurate checks and process payments following cash handling and credit policies
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas using clean-as-you-go procedures
• Follow all company safety, security, and alcohol service procedures
• Complete closing duties including cleaning equipment, restocking items, and securing the area

Requirements

• At least 1 year of server experience
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Must meet the minimum age requirement to serve alcohol
• Ability to obtain and maintain a food handlers certificate and alcohol training certifications
• Ability to work well under pressure and adhere to strict setup timelines
• Highly detail-oriented with the ability to follow verbal and written instructions
