Banquet Server

Responsibilities

• Welcome and acknowledge guests with professional hospitality and personalized service
• Anticipate guest needs and respond to questions or concerns using property-specific processes
• Set tables according to event types and service standards, including linens, glassware, and silverware
• Communicate dietary requirements, allergies, and special requests to the kitchen staff
• Present accurate checks and process payments following all cash handling and credit policies
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas using clean-as-you-go procedures
• Follow all company safety, security, and alcohol service procedures
• Complete closing duties including restocking, cleaning equipment, and securing the area

Requirements

• At least 1 year of server experience
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Highly detail-oriented with the ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Ability to work well under pressure and adhere to strict setup timelines
• Must meet the minimum age requirement to serve alcohol
• Possession of, or ability to obtain, a food handlers certificate and alcohol training certifications
