Banquet Server

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous and efficient food & beverage service in accordance with Fairmont Hotels & Resorts standards
• Work as part of a team to provide high standard of service for meeting set ups and meal functions
• Effectively handle guest concerns through empowerment
• Report equipment deficiencies or supply levels to Banquet Captains
• Maintain equipment and work areas to hotel standards
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and hygiene
• Comply with all safety regulations and participate in health and safety programs

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year in Food & Beverage, preferably Banquets or Conventions
• ProServe certification
• Legal ability to serve alcohol in Alberta (18+ years of age)
• Physically fit to lift trays, stand, and walk for the duration of a shift
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Availability to work holidays, weekends, overnights, and non-day shifts
• Legally eligible to work in Canada

Preferred Qualifications

• Post-Secondary education in Hotel/Food and Beverage Management
