About the role
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily department activities and supervise field teams in a unionized environment
- Oversee event setup, execution, and teardown while ensuring cleanliness and safety
- Maintain constant contact with clients to ensure personalized service and collect feedback
- Manage administrative and financial tasks including invoicing and promotional development
- Motivate and develop the banquet team through training and professional recognition
- Ensure compliance with hotel standards and health and safety policies
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in banquets, ideally in a unionized environment
- Excellent oral communication skills in both French and English
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- High level of autonomy and organizational skills
- Availability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Proficiency in hotel management software and high-end service standards
