Banquet Manager

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute banquet events and functions in accordance with client requirements
• Manage event logistics including venue setup, equipment allocation, and technical arrangements
• Supervise and direct banquet staff to ensure seamless service delivery
• Liaise with clients to understand event objectives and ensure customer satisfaction
• Collaborate with culinary teams for menu planning and food presentation
• Monitor banquet budgets and manage vendor relationships
• Conduct pre-event briefings and post-event debriefs
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations
• Train and mentor banquet staff on service protocols

Requirements

• 6-8 years of experience in banquet management or hospitality operations
• Proven track record of executing large-scale events
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations and catering standards
• Excellent organizational and project management skills
• Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and control costs
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality or Events Management
• Certification in Food Safety and Hygiene
• Experience in a luxury or five-star hotel environment
• Proficiency in Hindi or other regional languages
