About the role
Responsibilities
- Set up banquet rooms, ballrooms, and meeting spaces according to Banquet Event Orders and Hilton brand standards
- Arrange tables, chairs, linens, staging, dance floors, and audiovisual equipment
- Ensure all meeting and banquet areas are clean, organized, and ready prior to guest arrival
- Break down and reset rooms efficiently following events
- Assist banquet servers with replenishing supplies, water service, and room refreshes
- Maintain cleanliness in back-of-house areas, storage rooms, and service corridors
- Safely handle and move furniture, equipment, and supplies
- Report maintenance issues, damaged equipment, or safety concerns promptly
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods
- Flexible schedule with availability on nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong teamwork, communication, and customer service skills
