Banquet Attendant

Responsibilities

• Assist with setting up event spaces, including linens, table settings, and buffet or beverage stations
• Support food service execution by serving pre-plated meals, beverages, and passed appetizers
• Replenish buffet stations regularly to ensure presentation and freshness
• Transport food and supplies from the kitchen to event areas in a safe and timely manner
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned areas, including clearing tables and managing trash
• Perform event breakdown and cleanup tasks following service completion
• Provide professional and hospitable customer service to all guests
• Ensure compliance with food safety and company standards at all times

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Previous hospitality or food service experience
• Valid Food Handler’s Certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 30 lbs
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods and work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• Responsible Beverage Server Certification
• Experience working in fast-paced, team-oriented environments
