Bankruptcy, Restructuring & Litigation Paralegal

Responsibilities

• Provide support to commercial litigation and bankruptcy attorneys
• Conform legal documents to meet various court specifications
• Assist with commercial loan closings and related transactional documentation
• File UCC financing statements and real estate documents electronically or otherwise
• File documents via PACER, State Court e-filing systems, and paper filings
• Maintain pleading, discovery, and closing files for all assigned matters
• Prepare binders, trial notebooks, and exhibits for hearings and trials
• Prepare documents for service of process and assist with document review projects

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as a paralegal
• Experience in commercial litigation, bankruptcy, foreclosure, real estate, or banking
• Proficiency in MS Office and modern office practices
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task in an extremely fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• New Jersey notary license
