Banking SME and Business Data Analyst

Responsibilities

• Engage proactively with stakeholders to uncover requirements through critical thinking and insightful questioning
• Apply Agile methodologies to create detailed user stories that facilitate project success
• Leverage technical abilities to query Oracle databases and execute APIs using tools like Postman or Swagger
• Utilize platforms such as Jira, Confluence, Mural, and Figma to support project deliverables
• Translate complex data findings into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Senior Business Systems Analyst or Business Analyst
• Proven experience working on Agile projects within the banking industry
• Proficiency in SQL for database querying and Oracle databases
• Experience with Python or R for statistical analysis
• Hands-on experience with APIs and tools such as Postman or Swagger
• Strong analytical skills and experience with user story development

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in the financial sector, specifically wealth management, portfolio management, or client reporting
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
• Familiarity with code logic, including object-oriented programming and control structures
• Ability to facilitate collaboration and influence decision-makers across multiple functions
