Banking Integration Tester

Responsibilities

• Design, prepare, and execute Integration Test Cases and Test Scenarios
• Validate end-to-end integration between banking applications, middleware, APIs, and external systems
• Analyze Business and Functional Requirements to identify integration testing needs
• Perform System Integration Testing (SIT), Regression Testing, Smoke Testing, and Functional Testing
• Identify, document, track, and verify software defects using defect management tools
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Solution Architects, and Project Managers
• Validate API requests and responses using testing tools
• Verify data consistency across multiple integrated systems and databases
• Participate in requirement reviews and support UAT activities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
• 4+ years of experience in Software Testing with a focus on Integration Testing
• Experience in the Banking or Financial Services sector
• Hands-on experience with Temenos T24 testing and integration
• Solid understanding of STLC and SDLC
• Experience with API testing using Postman, SoapUI, or similar tools
• Knowledge of SQL for database validation
• Experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
