Banking & Finance/Investments Funds Traineeship

Responsibilities

• Participate in the development of the Banking & Finance / Investment Funds practice
• Engage in "live" client work and contribute to departmental tasks from an early stage
• Support client work through legal research, drafting, and technical assistance
• Work closely under the mentorship of an Associate to develop professional legal skills

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in Bar school, or hold a Master's degree in law or a DJCE degree
• Outstanding academic credentials
• Excellent written communication and legal drafting skills
• Fluency in both English and French
• Strong service orientation and a "client first" mindset
• Ability to demonstrate initiative, pro-activity, and flexibility in a professional environment
