Banking Advisor

Responsibilities

• Proactively engage with clients in the branch and community to uncover banking needs and identify sales or referral opportunities
• Provide advice and assistance regarding everyday banking, credit, and investment needs
• Educate clients on digital banking tools and leverage technology to enhance the client experience
• Respond to client-initiated contact and assist with a full range of financial transactions
• Take ownership of resolving and preventing client banking problems
• Cultivate relationships with internal partners to maximize business opportunities

Requirements

• Mutual Funds accreditation (e.g., Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course) or willingness to obtain it during training
• Demonstrated success in a hands-on, target-driven sales environment
• Strong problem-solving, people, and relationship-building skills
• High level of digital literacy across various devices including smartphones, tablets, and laptops
• Full availability to work retail branch hours, including extended hours Monday through Saturday and Sundays as applicable
• Bilingualism in English and Mandarin or Cantonese is required for this specific location

• Proven track record of building rapport and maintaining client relationships within the financial or service industry
