Banking Advisor Intern

Responsibilities

• Proactively engage with clients in the branch to deliver outstanding service and identify opportunities for advice and digital solutions
• Leverage technology to provide a memorable client experience and drive business solutions
• Contribute to team results by listening to client needs and introducing them to RBC partners
• Take ownership of resolving and preventing client banking problems
• Manage risks by adhering to compliance routines, processes, and controls to protect client and shareholder interests

Requirements

• Returning to school after August 2026, or requiring the work term as a mandatory component for graduation
• Demonstrated passion for client service and success in a target-driven environment
• Strong communication skills, emotional intelligence, and self-motivation
• Digital literacy across various devices including smartphones, tablets, and laptops
• Ability to work a variety of shifts
• Ability to learn financial concepts and successfully complete the Investment Funds in Canada (IFC) accreditation before the end of the term
