Bank Teller

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing a positive first impression through friendly and effective service.
• Execute accurate banking transactions, including cash handling, processing deposits, and maintaining branch vault funds.
• Identify opportunities to refer customers to new financial products and services based on their needs.
• Educate customers on digital banking and self-service opportunities offered by the bank.
• Comply with all bank policies, operational controls, and regulatory procedures to ensure the security of customers and assets.
• Manage customer inquiries and issues effectively, escalating to higher authorities when necessary.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (verifiable certificate or diploma).
• Proven experience in sales and customer service.
• Experience in cash handling and money management.
• Proficiency in desktop computers and Microsoft Office tools.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and active listening skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• University degree or ongoing studies in economic or administrative fields.
• Previous experience in a banking or financial services environment.
