Bank Manager

Responsibilities

• Guide, direct, and coach branch employees to deliver exceptional service and meet strategic profitability goals
• Develop and execute a branch business plan to maximize business growth, customer retention, and acquisition
• Conduct sales calls, establish personal referral networks, and perform business development activities to grow the customer base
• Manage team performance by coaching employees, supporting career development, and managing accountability
• Ensure all branch activities comply with legal, regulatory, and Bank policies, including monitoring for suspicious activity
• Resolve complex customer issues and maintain high-touch relationships with key branch clients and prospects
• Monitor sales and service performance against plans to identify gaps and implement corrective action plans

Requirements

• 4-6 years of relevant experience in banking or a related field
• Post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• In-depth knowledge of retail banking products, services, and competitive marketplace trends
• Strong understanding of branch operational processes, technologies, and performance metrics
• Working knowledge of applicable banking regulations, audit standards, and compliance procedures
• Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or management experience in a retail banking environment
• Proven ability to influence and negotiate to achieve business objectives
